Choosing a red light panel starts with a practical question: where will it fit? A device needs room for its stand, access to power and the operating distance specified in its instructions. Start with those constraints before comparing feature lists.
1. Measure the complete setup
Measure the area where you expect to use and store the panel. Include the footprint of its stand and the clearance needed to move around it. Wall mounting, door mounting and freestanding use can have different requirements. Check which mounting accessories are included and which must be purchased separately.
2. Match the format to your routine
A smaller panel may be easier to move or store. A larger model may suit a dedicated space, but its size alone does not establish its treatment area or performance. Ask for the manufacturer's coverage information at the recommended distance. Also check weight, cable length, controls and whether the equipment can be positioned comfortably.
3. Compare specifications on equal terms
Record each model's dimensions, wavelengths, LED layout and measured output. An irradiance figure is more useful when it includes the measurement distance, method and area measured. Avoid comparing a near-surface reading from one device with a more distant reading from another.
4. Review the ownership details
Before ordering, review the relevant manual, electrical compatibility, warranty, return terms and delivery arrangements for your country. Choose a device you can understand and use according to its instructions.
